The 33 year-old from Bray hasn't been seen since January 7th, and this week his father made an appeal for information on his disappearance.

It's understood Gardai received a tip-off following the appeal, and a body was found at Trooperstown Wood in Rathdrum this morning. 

The remains have yet to be formally identified.

Aoife Quinn has spent a second day giving evidence to the High Court that she has disclosed all documentation in her possession to IBRC.

Lawyers have finished cross examining her over their concerns the Quinns have not handed over full details of their valuable international property assets.

At the root of this exercise is a claim by IBRC that the Quinn's haven't been fully open with the bank.

In her evidence Aoife Quinn insisted time and again that she's disclosed all documents in her possession relating to bank accounts and the families International Property Group.

The Justice minister says he's very disappointed that middle ranking gardai have walked away from talks on an extension to the Croke Park Agreement. 

Alan Shatter's appealing to the Association of Garda Sergeants and Inspectors to go back to the discussions. 

But they're standing firm that so long as cuts to pay are on the table they see no reason to attend the talks. 

Minister Shatter says a walk out now will achieve little for those reresented by the AGSI.  

The Agriculture Minister says preliminary test results show no evidence of horse DNA in Irish materials, but hundreds of burger samples are still being investigated.

Simon Coveney says initial results from the Silvercrest meat processing firm are encouraging, but no conclusions should be drawn as a major investigation is continuing.

Meanwhile, another major player UK supermarket chain Waitrose has withdrawn burgers from Dalepak, another firm at the centre of the horsemeat controversy.

Northern Italy's been hit by an earthquake. 

The US geological survey says the 5 magnitude quake struck 37 miles from the city of Parma, but witnesses say it was felt as far away as Florence and Milan. 

There are no immediate reports of any damage or injuries.
