Rare photos of Paris have emerged, depicting the city at the turn of the 20th Century. Except these photos are not in black and white as would be expected, but in colour.

Unlike many old photos that can be restored in colour, these images were shot in colour at the time as the technology needed for colour photos already existed at the time. While all the photos were taken in colour, some have had their natural colours reinforced.
