The Late Late Toy Show is one of the biggest TV events of the year for youngsters and families around the country. It's a place for music, comedy, extravagant Christmas jumpers and, above all, toys.
But it's also a place to raise serious issues in front of a huge audience of adults and children alike. Fergal Smith contacted Ryan Turbidy in an urgent plea to give him some much needed space on this year's show. The 11-year-old would like to discuss, on air, a very common problem facing many of this country's citizens.
Yes, Fergal is stricken with a case of the dreaded 'middle child syndrome', and in the letter below he enthusiastically pleads his case to Ryan. It "would mean the world" to him for even a brief co-hosting job, assuring the presenter "I am not doing it for the money more for the crack and joy".
