More than 100 people have gathered outside Leinster House today to protest austerity.
In a statement, the group claiming to be behind the gathering say the government has "a complete lack of respect for the Irish people" and planned to use the protest to "demand members of the Oiréachtas honour the wishes of those who employ them".
Access to the Kildare Street entrance of Leinster House has been restricted and Molesworth Street is closed to traffic.

One of the event organisers is Tony Rochford, who went on a 23-day hunger strike in June over the property tax.
Some claimed to arrive at the Dáil as early as 5am this morning and the protest plans to continue until 9pm this evening.
A livefeed on the Occupy Earth website is currently streaming the protest while a Facebook event page with more than 5,000 attendees has remained active throughout the day.
