Pogues singer Shane MacGowan has been released from hospital.
The 65-year-old was being treated in St Vincent’s Hospital Dublin where it is believed he was recovering from a serious infection.
Mr MacGowan was previously diagnosed with encephalitis - a condition which causes the brain to swell.
His wife Victoria Mary Clarke has been documenting his treatment through social media, often posting pictures of him and visiting friends on Twitter/X.
