A police station in eastern Ukraine has been seized by armed men.
Police say the men, dressed in camouflage, fired shots and used stun grenades to seize the station in Sloviansk, close to the Russian border and roughly 35 miles north of the regional capital Donetsk.
Kiev claims the unrest is being orchestrated by Moscow and has described the armed gang as terrorists.
Ukraine interior minister Arsen Avakov confirmed on his Facebook page that the building was seized early Saturday morning.
Special forces have been dispatched to the area, according to Avakov, and will offer a “very severe” response to the “terrorists”.

Pro-Russian protesters have taken over Government buildings across Ukraine, including in the city of Donetsk where protestors have held government buildings for four days and calling for a referendum on the region becoming part of Russia.
Similar actions were the pre-cursor to the Russian invasion of Crimea last month. Russia has denied any responsibility for the protests across eastern Ukraine.
