Turnout for voting in the General Election is picking up as people head to the polls this evening.
Polling stations have been open since 7am and turnout is now starting to pick up.
The weather is understood to have an impact in Waterford, with turnout at around 32% in the city.
In Dublin, 34% of voters have cast their vote.
Around 36% of voters have cast their ballots in Cork. Turnout is highest in Cork South West, with 38%, while it is at just under that at 37.9% in Cork North West, and 32.9 in Cork East.
Turnout is up to around 34% in Tipperary.
Ballina is among the higher levels, with 38% of voters casting their ballot in Tipperary North.
Cashel is reporting a figure of 22%, while Thurles is at 28%.
Around 26% of people have turned out to vote in north-west Meath, with a figure of 32% in Kilbeggan.
Kilkenny is reporting a turnout of 30% so far, with Mayo voting at a turnout of 35%.
Galway East is at 28% while Galway West is at 22%.
In Kildare North, turnout has surpassed 30% in some locations, including Naas.
Polling stations will remain open until 10pm tonight.
