Pope Francis has, perhaps inadvertently, tweeted his support for a US football team.
In a post on Sunday, he said: "Today we give thanks to the Lord for our new #Saints. They walked by faith and now we invoke their intercession."
However the hashtag 'Saints' included a logo for the New Orleans Saints, which was generated automatically by Twitter.
The official Saints Twitter account retweeted the Pope after the game, which they won 13-6 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The team said: "Couldn't lose after this. Blessed and highly favored".

In all likelihood, Pope Francis was referring to five people who had just been made saints.
The new saints were canonized on Sunday morning at mass in St Peter's Square at The Vatican.
They are Cardinal John Henry Newman, Giuseppina Vannini, Mariam Thresia Chiaramel Mankidiyan, Dulce Lopes Pontes and Marquerite Bays.
