Dublin Airport has warned that a threatened strike by French air traffic controllers may affect flights there tomorrow.
The Dublin Airport Authority (DAA) is advising passengers to check with the website of their airline before setting out to the airport.
Ryanair is already planning to cancel 70 flights to and from France tomorrow as a result.
French authorities have requested all airlines to reduce their schedules by 30%.
Ryanair says this strike will also affect flights overflying France, and further flight delays and cancellations should be expected.
A spokesman for the airline apologised to all passengers who have had their travel plans disrupted.
"All passengers scheduled to fly on Thursday 10th October should check the status of their flight on the Ryanair.com website...before travelling to the airport" he said.
The walkout is the latest move in a campaign against plans to create a single European air traffic control system which unions say could cost jobs.
Thousands of UK air travellers are also facing delays and cancellations.
