Gardaí say a post mortem examination will determine the course of an investigation, following the discovery of partial human skeletal remains in south Dublin.
They were discovered on a site off the Lower Rathmines Road on Thursday.
The discovery was made during works on common ground at Lissenfield.
A forensic anthropologist has conducted examinations of the site, along with members of the Garda Technical Bureau.
The remains have been removed to the Dublin City Mortuary and a post mortem will be conducted at a later date.
