A post-mortem examination is due to take place today after a man was fatally injured at a recycling facility in Dublin yesterday.

Gardaí at Crumlin were called to the scene at the Greenstar recycling facility in Ballymount at around 3 o'clock.

The deceased was removed to Tallaght Hospital where a full post mortem will take place.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who was at the facility between 2.45 and 3.30pm yesterday to contact them at Crumlin Garda Station.
