Part of the Stephen's Green shopping centre in Dublin has been damaged in a fire.

It broke out at the side of the building on King Street South last night, with most of the damage to the exterior of Harry's on the Green.

People walking through the city centre this morning said they were shocked to see the broken windows and blackened walls. 

“It’s terrible,” one passerby told Newstalk. 

“It’s pretty bad,” his companion added. 

“It’s all shattered.” 

The area around the pub has been sealed off as Gardaí investigate.
