Households are being warned of a series of price hikes due to come into effect from next week.
Health insurers Laya Healthcare, Irish Life Health and Level Health are all raising their prices from the start of April.
SSE Airtricity is increasing costs for its electricity and gas customers, by 10.5% and over 8%, respectively.
Consumer Columnist with the Irish Examiner, Caitriona Redmond, said Sky is also raising its prices.
“Customers are going to have an increase in their annual fee by about €96 - but maybe more if you’re subscribed to a premium Sky TV package,” she told The Hard Shoulder.
“In saying that, they say that it reflects increased investment in their infrastructure and programming.
“So, existing Sky customers with the change in the user interface in the last couple of weeks - it now looks a little bit more like Netflix.”
