Property for sale is to be shown and sold virtually online, as coronavirus restrictions limit movements.
Property firm Savills Ireland has launched a dedicated website for prospective new home buyers, allowing them to view and purchase property online.
The site will showcase various new home developments throughout the Greater Dublin Area, allowing buyers to explore properties virtually through Matterport 3D technology.
A live chat feature will also allow buyers to ask questions directly to agents.
While a 'drift' functionality allows users to reserve time in an agents’ diary for a personal virtual tour of the property.
Sales can also be facilitated online, with a 'click to purchase' option allowing buyers and solicitors to sign contracts electronically.
David Browne is director of new homes at Savills Ireland.
He said: "Nothing beats viewing a property in person, but with COVID-19 restrictions in place, our virtual viewing platform is the next best option.
"Over the past 14 days, our team has focused heavily on creating a quality platform that is more than just a marketing gimmick, and I believe we have achieved that.
"Through this platform, prospective new home buyers will be able to obtain all the information they need to make an informed decision."
"We don’t know how long this crisis will last, or how long restrictions on movement will remain in place, but what we do know - and have done for a long-time before now - is that the demand is there."
