The new property price register here will help restore stability and confidence in the Irish market.
That is according to the head of the Property Services Regulatory Authority.
The first Irish register of its kind went live at the weekend.
href="http://propertypriceregister.ie/website/npsra/ppr-home-en.html">Propertypriceregister.ie allows users to see the sale price of every property that changed hands since January 2010.
However the site points out that it is not intended as a ‘Property Price Index’ – but is designed to “provide, on an ongoing basis, accurate prices of residential properties purchased at a particular date”.
Also if the property is a new property then the price shown is exclusive of VAT at 13.5%.
