The Chartered Surveyors of Ireland and the Irish Tax Institute will publish new guidelines today to help homeowners value their homes for property tax.
The two groups have come together to address the practical questions people who are not familiar with self-assessment for tax might ask.
The tips will be available on the Chartered Surveyors of Ireland's website www.scsi.ie
