There are calls for the Gardaí and social media companies to do more to target hate speech and racism.
It comes ahead of a Dublin rally at Irishtown Garda station and Barrow Street in the city, where many social media companies are based.
Organisers are asking unions, political representatives, campaign groups and other political groups to mobilise for the event.
The group's intention is gather at Irishtown Garda station at 2.30pm and move to Barrow Street at around 3.00pm.
They say they want to stand up in numbers and to reject the "spreading of hate on our streets."
Participants will also demand the social media companies stop hosting far-right groups.
They will also call on the Government to take "effective action" and address racism and hate.
"The xenophobic rhetoric of these groups is already having a dangerous impact in communities around the country and that is particularly concerning for asylum seekers housed nationally in the extremely problematic Direct Provision system."
Izzy O'Rourke, who is with the group organising the rally, says action needs to be taken against hate speech.
"We have an Incitement to Hatred Act, and we have it for a reason.
"This kind of racist, homophobic rhetoric - it's not harmless, it does harm when you hear people being de-personalised, when you hear somebody standing on street corners shouting that foreigners are sub-human: you've got a problem".
