Peace activists will stage a protest at Shannon Airport this afternoon, marking the 13th anniversary of a US military presence there.
Among those taking part will be Margaretta D'Arcy, who was imprisoned twice this year for opposing US military stopovers in Shannon.
Since 2001, the airport has been used as a US hub for troops and weapons en route to conflicts including those in Iraq, Syria and Gaza.

The protest begins at 2.30pm.
