A protester has been shot dead in central Cairo during fresh clashes with Egypt's police forces, as violence continues to spread across the country.
The headquarters of the Egyptian football federation and a nearby police station have been set alight by fans, after a court cleared seven police officers over their alleged involvement in deadly riots in Port Said.
More than 70 people died during stadium riots at a game there in February last year.

The court upheld 21 death sentences issued over the violence.
