Police have clashed with protesters in several Egyptian cities this evening after rallies marking the anniversary of a protest movement turned violent.
In Cairo, police fired tear gas at rioters outside the Superior Court.
Several people have been injured in the clashes which are also being reported in Alexandria and Mahalla.

The protests had been organised to mark the anniverary of the April 6th group which is credited with sparking the movement which overthrew President Hosni Mubarak.
