Demonstrators in India have staged a second day of rallies in New Delhi in protest at the brutal rape of an abducted five-year-old girl.
It is the latest in a string of attacks on females that have brought thousands to the streets of the capital, angry at the way women are regularly subjected to violence.
The girl is being treated at New Delhi's top government hospital where officials said she was in a "stable condition".
