Police in the North have launched an appeal for information following a stabbing in Belfast this morning.

Emergency services were called to the scene at Ladbrook Drive in the north of the city in the at about 1.50am, where they found a man with stab injuries.

The man aged in his 20s is being treated in hospital, however his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Detectives say a motive for this attack has yet to be established.
