Police in the North are appealing for witnesses to an armed robbery in Belfast last night.

A man threatened staff at a fast food outlet on Oxford Street in the city with a knife and made off in the direction of Stewart Street with a sum of cash.

The man is described as being of slim build - around 6 foot tall with short dark hair and he was wearing black tracksuit bottoms, black shoes and a hooded top.
