In the North, police in Lisburn have arrested two teenagers on suspicion of attempted hijacking.
The pair - aged 16 and 18 - were arrested in the Cutts in Dunmurry early this morning after allegedly attempting to force a taxi driver from his vehicle.
The teenagers, one of whom is believed to have been armed with a machete, had been picked up by the taxi at around 4.45am in the Divis Street area.

Police arrested the teenagers a short distance away and they remain in custody this afternoon.
The machete has been recovered by police and has been seized for examination.
