In Northern Ireland, police are treating 'as suspicious' a fatal fire in Newry which claimed the life of a woman.

The blaze was reported just after 11 o'clock last night in the Georges Lane area.

It's believed the body of a woman was found inside the house.

Police remain at the scene this morning.

The PSNI is appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
