A seventh arrest has been made in connection to the death of Quam Babatunde in Dublin city centre last month.
The man, aged in his late teens, was arrested this morning and is currently being held at a Garda station in Dublin.
Mr Babatunde was a 34-year-old asylum seeker from Nigeria who was found by Gardaí with knife injuries on South Anne Street in the early hours of February 15th.
He was brought to hospital but was pronounced dead a short time later.
So far, five men have been charged and appeared before courts in the Republic in connection with Mr Babatunde’s death.
A sixth has appeared before the Northern Irish courts after being arrested by the PSNI as he attempted to board a ferry from Belfast to Liverpool.
Investigations are ongoing.
