Raymond Shorten is facing 30 years in jail after being handed an extra 17-year sentence this morning.
The 50-year-old father-of-seven from Melrose Crescent, Clondalkin, was told he would serve the new sentence consecutively to the 13-year sentence her received earlier this week.
This morning’s sentence was for raping two young women on separate occasions in 2022.
Shorten had claimed the women consented to the sexual activity in his taxi, but the jury didn’t believe him.
The 13-year sentence he was handed last week was for raping and sexually abusing a seven-year-old girl over a decade ago.
BREAKING >>> For raping two female passengers in 2022, Dublin taxi driver Raymond Shorten has been handed an additional SEVENTEEN YEARS in prison on top of the 13-year sentence he received on Monday for abusing a girl (7) over a decade ago. That is an effective 30-YEAR sentence.

Mr Justice Paul McDermott ruled that the sentences should run consecutively rather than concurrently.
That means he has effectively been handed a 30-year prison sentence.
