Corrie’s Bill Roach – known to millions as Ken Barlow – says the earth will “cleanse itself” in 2013.

The soap lothario says he goes along with the ancient Mayan calendar that predicts the end of the world this year.

And he says he believes the world as we know it will end – and a ‘golden age of humanity’ will be ushered in.
