Fire services rushed to the scene of a major fire at a furniture factory in New Ross, Co Wexford today.
Smoke could be seen from miles away as teams tackle the blaze at a storage unit close to the Kent's Cross roundabout, which is known locally as the Tesco roundabout.
It is understood to have broken out at around 10:30am at the Culcita furniture manufacturing plant.
Wexford County Council is appealing to people to avoid the area and keep windows and doors shut until the smoke and fumes have cleared.
Karen Kelly, who was at the scene when the fire broke out, says it was "really, really scary".
"I was coming up the road in the car with my brother and the next thing we know we could see the smoke just bellowing up into the sky and it was just really thick black smoke", she said.
"We saw the guards up at the roundabout so I pulled in. The next thing we got out and sure I walked up and sure I started filming then.
"It just looked really out of control to be honest with you, and you can see the flames just coming out through it as well."

"From where I was standing, you could actually feel the heat from the flames", Ms Kelly added.
There are reports that the blaze could be seen from as far away as Rathnure, about a 20 minute drive away.
