A receiver has been appointed to the Carlton Hotel in Kinsale in Co. Cork.
The hotel has issued a statement this afternoon.
It says the facility will continue to trade as normal under Kieran Wallace of KPMG.
Business will continue as normal at the hotel and there will be no interruption to trade, it adds.
The hotel will honour all customer bookings, deposits, memberships and vouchers.
The 94 management and staff members will also continue to be employed in the operation of the hotel.
The group is an Irish-owned company with 9 properties throughout Ireland.
These are located in Dublin, Galway, Limerick, Kinsale, Tralee, Wexford and Westport.
