The new Taoiseach Micheál Martin has named his 11 nominees to the Seanad.
Former TD Timmy Dooley and the former social protection minister Regina Doherty are among those who've now been nominated to the upper house.
Other nominees include Green Party Kildare Councillor Vincent P Martin - the brother of the party's deputy leader and newly-appointed minister Catherine Martin.
Fianna Fáil's Lorraine Clifford Lee will return to the upper house, while Independent Eileen Flynn will become the first female Traveller in the Oireachtas.
Joining Regina Doherty for Fine Gael are Councillors Aisling Dolan, Emer Currie and Mary Seery Kearney.
Fianna Fáil Councillors Mary Fitzpatrick and Erin McGreehan have also been nominated, along with Green Party Councillor Róisín Garvey.
