The remains of an Irish man are expected to be brought home in the coming days after he died in hospital in Toronto.

Conor Curtin was in his mid-20s and originally from Ardagh in Co. Limerick.

He was hurt in a workplace accident in the past fortnight following a fall at a construction site.

He had reportedly been working as a civil engineer in Canada. Reports say he was in a coma for a number of days.

Members of his family have travelled there to bring home his remains.
