Gardai in Dublin investigating the disappearance of a woman with Alzheimer's are asking people in the Glasnevin, Violet Hill road and Dublin Industrial estate areas to check their outhouses for sightings of Peggy Mangan.

The 65 year-old was last leaving her home at Mount Tallant Avenue in Terenure at approximately 11am on Tuesday morning. She was walking her King Charles Cavalier dog at the time.

CCTV footage has been released which shows the woman in Phibsboro on Tuesday evening at around 6.30 and again on the Finglas road at 7pm.

She's described as being five foot in height and of slight build. When last seen she was wearing a white jacket and black trousers.
