Two adults and four children have been rescued after they were stuck in an amusement park ride in Tramore, County Waterford.
Members of the fire service say they were called to the scene shortly after 7.30pm, following reports that the Chair -o- plane style ride malfunctioned- leaving the people stuck mid- air.
The fire service used a high reach appliance to bring them to safety.
The Health and Safety Authority has been notified - however it's understood none of the people trapped on the ride were injured during the incident.
