A group representing retailers is raising concerns about a protest march planned for Dublin this weekend over the flying of the union flag at Belfast City Hall.
The group "Families Acting for Innocent Relatives" say they will limit the protest to just three bus loads of people.
Spokesman Willie Frazer says he hopes the march through the city centre will be peaceful.
He was also involved in the 'Love Ulster' parade in Dublin in 2006.
"We don't want to to down there and create hassle or create problems for shopping or whatever" he said.
"We're going down to hand in a letter, we will get out - hopefully the guards will let us up as close as possible with the buses - so we can get out, hold our short protest, hand in the letter, get back on the buses and come back up the road" he added.
Concerns of retaliation
Sinn Fein TD Sean Crowe has called the planned Loyalist march a "provocative publicity stunt" designed to ratchet up tension and trouble.
He is calling on people not to engage with or be provoked by the protestors.
While Retail Excellence Ireland (REI) says if it goes ahead it will have a devastating effect on trade.
Spokesman David Fitzsimons spoke to Lunchtime here on Newstalk.
Trouble is continuing in Belfast over the issue.
