Suspected heroin worth €12.3m has been seized at Rosslare Europort.
The discovery was made on Thursday as part of an intelligence led operation when Revenue officers detected and seized approximately 88kgs.

The drugs were discovered when a truck and low-loader trailer, arriving into Ireland from mainland Europe, was stopped and searched.
The search was carried out using Revenue's mobile x-ray scanner and with the help of detector dogs Sam and Flynn.

It was concealed in machinery being carried on the low-loader.
Revenue says investigations are ongoing, with the assistance of the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau as well as in collaboration with international law enforcement partners.
