Three people have been arrested by Gardaí investigating an arson attack on a Dublin pub, where anti-immigrant protests previously took place.
The fire broke out in the former Shipwright pub, also known as Sally's Bar, in Ringsend on December 31st last year.
Protests against the use of the premise for migrants took place earlier in December and there were objections online.
Four houses were searched under warrant this morning during an operation in the Dublin area.
Two men, aged in their 30s and 50s, and a woman aged in her 20s were arrested.
A number of items were also seized, including electronic devices, during the operation.
All three people are currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act at a Dublin Garda station.
An Garda Síochána continues to appeal to anyone with information in relation to this investigation to contact Irishtown Garda station.
They are also appealing to anybody with any information on any other reported incidents of arson to contact them.
These arrests bring to 10 the total number of persons arrested for arson attacks in recent months.
Tánaiste Micheál Martin has said tougher measures for arsonists could be on the way.
