The Minister of State with Responsibility for Equality says he plans to set up an LGBT strategy.
Aodhán Ó'Riordáin says he is early discussions with his Department and the Gay and Lesbian Equality Network, to set up a strategy to look at the areas of employment, education and health.

The new laws come into effect following an historic referendum vote in May of this year.
Ó'Riordáin says the Employment Equality Act will be changed this week to prohibit workplaces and institutions to discriminate against someone's sexuality on the grounds of religion.
