As votes were being counted in the 1994 Eurovision Song Contest, Riverdance burst onto the stage, taking the audience in the Point Theatre and television viewers by storm.
The production is looking for people's memories of where they were when it took to the stage for the first time, or from dancers it has inspired over the last 20 years.
On the Riverdance website, it asks you to share your memories on Twitter using the hashtag #riverdance20.
Julian Erskine, current Executive Producer of Riverdance, explains why they are looking for people's memories:
Remember this? This is the moment, 20 years ago, when Riverdance first exploded onto our screens and made waves across Ireland and the world.
