Robert Pattinson is to follow in the footsteps of great British actor Peter O’Toole, by playing Lawrence Of Arabia.

The 26-year-old Twilight star has been cast as TE Lawrence in Werner Herzog’s new historical drama, Queen Of The Desert, opposite Naomi Watts.

According to Variety – filming’s expected to start in the autumn.
