A Dublin restaurant has brought in robot waiters to serve its customers.
Buffet restaurant COSMO said the robots will deliver cocktails and collect empty plates – while cracking ‘humorous one-liners’ at customers.
They are equipped with 3D sensors that allow them to safely navigate a path through the restaurant – even at busy peak hours.
The SPARK BellaBots are brand new to Ireland and the restaurant is the first in Ireland to put them into action.
COSMO is now asking customers for their help in naming the new staff members – with a €1,500 Liffey Valley voucher up for grabs for the best name.
Customers can pop in and meet the robots every day at COSMO in the Liffey Valley Shopping Centre venue.
