Reports suggest that music lovers have had no burning desire to snap up Ronan Keating’s album ‘Fires’, as the Boyzone singer has sole just 181 copies since its release.
It entered into the Irish charts at number 13, which will come at a severe blow for Keating, who spent the last four weeks on the charm offensive, promoting the album.
Ronan explained to the href="http://www.metro.co.uk/showbiz/910910-ronan-keating-new-album-wont-be-about-my-affair-and-marriage-split">Metro that the album isn’t based on his recent marriage troubles:
‘The lyrics aren’t autobiographical, with everything that’s gone on, but they are very emotional,’ the 35-year-old Irishman told Metro.
‘I haven’t done a studio album in six years so it’s been interesting to get back in it. I’m feeling good again.
‘It’s going to be very poppy and up-tempo like Life Is A Rollercoaster. There’s actually a rap on it.’
Here’s a sample of what’s on the album
