Organisers of the Rose of Tralee Festival say they are satisfied adequate security measures are in place at the event.
It comes after a man in the audience - who was dressed as a priest - walked onto the stage while the Cavan Rose was being interviewed by Dáithí Ó Sé last night.
The protester had purchased a ticket for the event.
He was removed from the stage by security personnel before being taken away by gardaí.
He was founder of the British-based 'Fathers 4 Justice' group, Matt O'Connor.
They quickly claimed responsibility on Twitter.
