The Road Safety Authority is warning motorists not to become complacent this bank holiday weekend.

The call comes as thousands of people take to the roads over the Easter Break.

To date this year 48 people have lost their lives on Irish roads and the RSA is warning this figure will rise if road users do not remain vigilant.
