RTE has announced it's cut the salaries of its 'top 10' earners by 30 per cent.

Ryan Tubridy has seen his salary cut by a third to €495,000, Marian Finucane is down almost half to €295,000 and Eamon Dunphy's salary has been reduced to €106,000 - which is a 67 percent cut.

In 2008, RTE paid 4.45million euro to its ten highest-paid presenters - in 2013 that figure is expected to be in the region of 3 million.
