In aid of href="http://www.spinalinjuries.ie/spinal/main/News.htm" target="_blank"> style="color: blue;">Spinal Injuries Ireland, it will take place at Pembroke Cricket Club/Monkstown RFC, Sandymount, Dublin 4 at 3.30pm.

class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; line-height: 14.25pt;"> style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Georgia, serif;">This inaugural mid summer festival is a major event in the fund raising calendar of Spinal Injuries Ireland.The initiative which is fully endorsed and supported by both Cricket Ireland & Leinster Rugby is aimed at encouraging children in the Leinster community to get healthy, get active, to get outdoors and play cricket & rugby. Spinal Injuries Ireland aims to use this event to raise funds for the charity whilst simultaneously showcasing and promoting the development of cricket and rugby for children throughout Leinster. The recent ongoing successes of both sports has reached new heights, and never before have we seen so much interest and enthusiasm generated around these two sports in the community.

So this is a vital and much needed fundraiser for us”

It will be an action packed fun-filled day for children and parents alike. Leinster Rugby are bringing the Heineken Cup, while their development officers together with key players will be showing everyone why they are the kings of Europe with master classes of place kicking, tackling and passing. If cricket is your thing, Cricket Ireland will be on hand for Master classes of bowling, fielding and batting delivered by their development officers and key players in Irish Cricket. These master- classes are a must for any Rugby or Cricket enthusiast and will take place throughout the day.
