Russia has blocked a draft declaration of concern about the situation in the Syria city of Qusayr.

Up to 30-thousand people are believed to be trapped in the city - which is being blockaded by the Assad regime and Hezbollah militants.

The International Red Cross says it is "alarmed" about the impact of fighting on civilians.

It's appealing for immediate access to deliver aid.
