Ryanair has changed a number of flights from London to Irish airports today to facilitate passengers delayed by trains at Gatwick Airport.

The Gatwick to Dublin flights will leave at 10.40pm and 2.35pm, the service to Shannon will depart at 1:15pm, while the Cork flight will leave at 1.40pm.

In a statement, Gatwick Airport says "Due to adverse weather conditions, there is now a limited train service to and from Gatwick Airport. Passengers are advised to allow extra time for their journey".

There are also power outages in parts of the North Terminal at the airport - including check-in - which are causing further delays.

There are also delays to train services to Heathrow Airport in the British capital.
