A Ryanair flight from Madrid to the Canary Islands was forced to make an emergency landing this morning after losing cabin pressure.
Oxegen masks were deployed and the jet was forced to return to Barajas Airport.
It happened just 1 hour from take-off after crew noticed technical problems.
Several passengers on flight FR 2011 complained of headaches and earaches after leaving the plane.
16 people were treated by medical staff.
The airline has apologized to the 160 passengers who were put on a replacement flight later this morning.
Ryanair said its engineers were inspecting and making necessary repairs to the plane.
