Ryanair has announced 5 new routes from Cork to Poland and Lithuania.

The budget airline has launched a price war against WizzAir.

The Hungarian-based carrier already operates on the routes.

Ryanair says it will base a second aircraft in Cork from November.

It is a move which will sustain 800 jobs at the airport.
